Time for another BIT+ Paper Toy to be released. This time ITP Studios is happy to bring you,the first character we have designed from the DC Vertigo Line, SWAMP THING!! It was lots of fun deigning the character. got to play around with the shading and colors more then I normally do as I went away from the simple clean colors to a messy look. Had a hard time settling on the pose for Swamp Thing but once I found it the rest fell together rarely quickly. Next up from the BIT+ "World's Finest" Paper Toy Series, by ITP Studios, comes the Green Arrow!! Redrew this one four or five times this week. Once I found a drawing a was happy with he came together fairly quickly. Went with a comic version of Green Arrow instead of the TV version. I haven't seen the TV show, it looks cool though, but in the comic Green Arrow rocks the Mustache and I had to draw it. Welcome Everyone, Two years?!? Seriously it has already been two years? I am very happy to still be creating these paper toys after two years and look forward to continuing of creating more BIT+ Paper Toys in the next year and so on. Thank you to everyone how has supported me, whether it was by stopping by a one of the conventions I attended this past year or stopping by the blog or Facebook page. It is your support and the fact that you actually like to characters I create that keep me going. There are now four different sizes of the BIT+ Paper Toy Templates. We got the mini BIT+ (approx. 0.75"), VS BIT+ (approx. 1.75"), BIT+ (approx. 2.25"), and the MEGABIT+ (approx 4.25"). Didn't plan on having the four sizes when I started it but I really do enjoy having them. I have recently been think of doing all of the characters as the VS BIT+ size as there are two characters per 8.5" x11" sheet of paper so they do not take up as much space. ...

And now we come to the final character to be released from BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", HARLEY QUINN ! Thank you Paul Dini and Bruce Timm for creating this great character. Originally from Batman: The Animated Series, Harley Quinn is now one of the most popular female characters in comics. It does matter which comic convention I attend, there are always a few Harley Quinn cosplayers that I see. Don't blame them either. The character is badass. It was a little difficult to design her as I wanted to step away from the more basic female BIT+ design that I had done up until now but it was well worth it. The character has a lot of attitude and spunk, which I think was captured in the BIT+ design. That is a wrap for BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD's FINEST 2". Releasing the second last character from BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", POSION IVY! I go from the hardest character to design to the easiest. This was one of those drawing that just fell onto the paper. Probably the most revealing paper toy I have done so far, yet I find it one of the most powerful looking designs as well. There is just a look with her I find that says "I will melt your heart or break it", heh, but I am probably reading to much into it. Thank you for all the support and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy.   ITP Studios brings to you today the next character from BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", CATWOMAN! I had a hard time designing this one. Looking at the different designs of Catwoman over the years were inspiring and in the end I just went with how I would draw Catwoman if given the chance. The piece ending up being influenced by her costume from the 90's. Hopefully you all like it. Thank you for all the support and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy. Next up from BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", is one of the coolest looking characters from DC 52, BATWOMAN! I know next to nothing about this character. Haven't read any of her books, but her design is spectacular. Either her or the Cassandra Cain Batgirl design are the coolest looking Bat characters in my opinion. ITP Studios releasing the next character from BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", the man who broke the bat, BANE!! Tom Hardy did such an amazing job of portraying Bane in Dark Knight Rises I had to design that version as opposed to the comic version. At first I wasn't sure he could pull it off but after seeing him in Brunson, I was exciting to see him as Bane. Not much else to say right now. Releasing from BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", the first Robin all grown up, NIGHTWING! I have a soft spot for Aquaman , but if I had to choose which character is my favorite, I think I may have to go with Nightwing. I would love to see a Tim Sale/Jeph Loeb Nightwing story along the lines of their Marvel color series or DC series. I feel they could do a lot of interesting things with the character. Releasing the second character from BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", one of the most unappreciated characters at DC Comics, from the city of Atlantis, AQUAMAN!! Now Aquaman is one of my favorite characters and it is not just because he sometimes rocks a beard (it does help though). If think the fact that he is look down upon by so many is what attracts me to the character. Because despite what the perception is of Aquaman, when it comes right down to it he is actually on the same power level as the best super heros around, but he just hasn't had that defining moment that people remember as badass. I have heard good things about his new DC52 comic series and hopefully it brings him up to the level as the other great DC characters (his fellow Justice Leaguers, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, etc). Today ITP Studios is happy to release the first character for BIT+ Series 11 "WORLD'S FINEST 2", Princess Diana of Themyscira, also know as, WONDER WOMAN!!! Since releasing the first "WORLD'S FINEST" series, people at conventions I have been lucky enough to attend have been asking, "are you going to do Wonder Woman". Well, she is finally here and I couldn't be more happy with how she turned out.  I like the attitude that I managed to capture with your facial expression. Hello Everybody! Been awhile. For the past week I have been posting sketches of possible future BIT+ Paper Toy's on my DA account . My goal is to post a new sketch each day for the entire summer. Below is the past weeks posts. Each week I will try to post all of the sketches here on the blog. As far as the Series that I am working on, I am a bit behind. I am close to finishing the "Indy Legends" line and I have half of the "Saturday Mornings" line done too. I am just waiting until I have a couple more characters finished before posting them online for all. I am also planning on releasing a limited edition B/W version of the TMNT's (Mikey, Leo, Donnie and Raph). Would this be something that you would be willing to pay for? or would you not be interested at all if it was not for free? Give me your thoughts and I will talk more about this after hearing some feedback. And now without anything else to say right now, the past week of the Summer of BIT+...

Well Everyone, I had a great time at Emerald City Comic Con  this past weekend. It was great to get out and meet everyone at the show as well as share all of the BIT+ Paper Toys. The reaction was better than I could have hoped. I actually had to go get more copies of the NEW BIT+ Mini's*  (*more on this over the weekend) printed at the first day because I only had 2 left over. Everyone seemed to like the overall design/shape which has really inspired me to keep going on these and try to bring more characters to life even faster. I got a few ideas about upcoming characters from people at the show as well as a couple of variants ideas on a couple of characters that I have already done (e.i. X-Force versions of Deadpool and Wolverine). I think after I finish up the series that is debuting in this post I will post a poll on which characters I should do for the next series. I already have the theme picked out but I would like some help on which characters to create from tha...

From BIT+ Series 4 "World's Finest" , ITP Studios is happy to release the Clown Prince of Chaos, the JOKER!!! "Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it." Probably the greatest villain ever created, the Joker is complete and total chaos. Heath Ledger was an amazing Joker, the way I always envisioned the Joker should be. Other versions of the Joker were good in there own right but the Dark Knight's Joker just made them all wet themselves a little I thought. I planned on having a more mixed look to the Joker, taking a bit of everything some him over the years, but I just keep coming back to the Dark Knights version. Now on to Doomsday and than the next series. "Why so serious?"   t.

And now the next character from BIT+ Series 4 "Worlds Finest", the Man of Steel, SUPERMAN! The greatest "superhero" created, him can do it all and then some. Favorite Superman story has to be "the Death of Superman". Even though we all knew that DC would not really kill him off for good, the build up to the final battle was intense. I remember looking on every newsstand for each issue leading up to the ultimate battle in Superman 75. Feeling the inch to go read it again after writing this. Later, t.
