Can you believe that it has already been a year since the first BIT+ Paper Toys were released. I can't. The designs have come a long way since Series One "The Marvelous", but I think those characters still hold there ground against the newer series that I have done. With the release of Aku yesterday that makes 48 different BIT+ characters in the first year (I think). Almost one a week. Not bad. I hope to release even more in Year Two. I have a simple goal for year Two and that is 70 new characters by the end of it. Plus I plan to feature a lot more female characters plus have some scene setters for the characters as well (you will see what I mean when I finish the Trick or Treat Series is October). Well that is enough out of me. I have to get back to getting the Summer of BIT+ back on track (I had been really sick for the past two weeks. I lost 18 pounds in the first 4 days of being sick) but below I have adjusted the checklist drawing that I did to include all the ch...

Hello Everybody! Been awhile. For the past week I have been posting sketches of possible future BIT+ Paper Toy's on my DA account . My goal is to post a new sketch each day for the entire summer. Below is the past weeks posts. Each week I will try to post all of the sketches here on the blog. As far as the Series that I am working on, I am a bit behind. I am close to finishing the "Indy Legends" line and I have half of the "Saturday Mornings" line done too. I am just waiting until I have a couple more characters finished before posting them online for all. I am also planning on releasing a limited edition B/W version of the TMNT's (Mikey, Leo, Donnie and Raph). Would this be something that you would be willing to pay for? or would you not be interested at all if it was not for free? Give me your thoughts and I will talk more about this after hearing some feedback. And now without anything else to say right now, the past week of the Summer of BIT+...

Introducing the "MINI BIT + " from ITP Studios. Featuring all of the characters from the previous released BIT+ series at a faction of the size. These Mini BIT+ stand in a approx 3/4 of an inch, which works perfectly for those with limited space on your shelf or desk. "The Marvelous" (featuring SpiderMan, Venom, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Red Hulk, Wolverine and Deadpool)  and "Worlds Finest" (Superman, Doomsday, Green Lantern, Flash, Reverse Flash, Batman and the Joker) are the first series to be series.     Look for "Ninja Turtles" in the MINI BIT+ series to be released soon.     Later, t.    

Hello Everyone. I am off to Emerald City Comic Con this weekend. The biggest Comic Con in the Pacific Northwest. If you haven't been to this Con and you are in the area you need to go if you can. It is a blast. The show hours are: 2pm -8pm on Friday 10am -7pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday. I am at Booth 101, one of the first tables when you walk in to the Con by the ticket registration area. I will have all of the BIT+ Paper Toy available either as a DIY sheet or Assembled already in a box, as well as several new BIT+ Paper Toys from Series 5 "Indy Legends" that will be debuting at the show. I will also have a new series of BIT+ debuting called BIT+MINI. The first of the BIT+MINI to be released is Series 1 "the Marvelous". The little Paper Toys stand at approx 3/4 of an inch tall, so for those of you that have little shelf space left, this works perfectly. ITP Studios is proud to present the final character from BIT+ series 4 "Worlds Finest", DOOMSDAY!!! The creature that killed Superman. I remember walking to the Comic Stop that day with one of the best friends. He wasn't that into comics but knew that Superman 75 was an epic comic at the time. We got the the shop 30 minutes before it was suppose to open and saw that the shop was full of people. The shop owner had opened the store early but did not started to ring anyone through until the store was suppose to open, plus he had all the Superman 75 comics behind the till, with a limit of one comic per person of both the special edition and newsstand edition. It was crazy. I have never seen soon many people in a Comic Shop for one book in my life and probably never will again. Anyways, Doomsday is a cool character that beat down the unbeatable. From BIT+ Series 4 "World's Finest" , ITP Studios is happy to release the Clown Prince of Chaos, the JOKER!!! "Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it." Probably the greatest villain ever created, the Joker is complete and total chaos. Heath Ledger was an amazing Joker, the way I always envisioned the Joker should be. Other versions of the Joker were good in there own right but the Dark Knight's Joker just made them all wet themselves a little I thought. I planned on having a more mixed look to the Joker, taking a bit of everything some him over the years, but I just keep coming back to the Dark Knights version. Now on to Doomsday and than the next series. "Why so serious?"   t.

Finally, the next character from BIT+ Series 4 "Worlds Finest" is released, SINESTRO!!!!! "In blackest day, in brightest night, Beware your fears made into light Let those who try to stop what's right, Burn like my power... Sinestro's might!" I don't know much about Sinestro other than he looks fairly badass. Mark Strong was one of the best parts as Sinestro in the Green Lantern movie. Just found out the SInestro played a huge role in the Blackest Night storyline from DC Comics. Might have to check it out. Next up either Doomsday or the Joker. t.

Rolling out another fine creation from BIT+ SERIES 4 "Worlds Finest", GREEN LANTERN! In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!!! While the movie was OK (my Kids love it though), Hal Jordan is still one of the coolest characters to be a Super Hero. I mean his day job is being a Test Pilot, how cool is that. t.

And now the next character from BIT+ Series 4 "Worlds Finest", the Man of Steel, SUPERMAN! The greatest "superhero" created, him can do it all and then some. Favorite Superman story has to be "the Death of Superman". Even though we all knew that DC would not really kill him off for good, the build up to the final battle was intense. I remember looking on every newsstand for each issue leading up to the ultimate battle in Superman 75. Feeling the inch to go read it again after writing this. Later, t.
