BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends" Judge Dredd

Time for another character that should have ben done a long time ago, but better later then never. The last character from BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends", JUDGE DREDD! I really enjoyed the last Dredd movie. Karl Urban made for a great Dredd. Felt he and the movie really captured a lot of what Dredd should be.I really hope they make a second one. Really don't have much to say about this one. Happy with how he turned out, and it is nice to finish up this series. Only series I have left unfinished now is the Game On Series. Hopefully I can finish the last character by the weekend. After I release the last character from "Game On", I will start posting the new characters from "Trick or Screamers". Thank you for all the support and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy. Trevor BIT+ Paper Toys Creating paper toy.....madness!!

BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends" the MAXX!!

Hello Everyone. Today ITP Studios is happy to finally release from BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends", Sam Keiths', the MAXX!! I have had the Maxx on my plate to finish for a long time and had every intention to finish him but whenever he was opened up to work on, I would end up jumping onto another character instead. Finally forced myself to himself him, so it feels good to get him released for everyone to see (I have one other character from this series to release and you should see him released in a couple days). I always liked the Maxx. He was the one book from Image Comics back in the day that was really different from the rest. I enjoyed the series and look forward to getting the new collected editions from IDW. Thank you all for you support and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy. BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2" TANK GIRL!!!

Alright, time to release the final character from BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2", TANK GIRL!! I was talking to a friend at a convention about the first BIT+ Indy Legends and how I wanted to have more female characters but wasn't sure who to design. Tank Girl was the first character she named off, and right away I knew I wanted to take a stab at her. Didn't know much about her but thought that she had a wicked look. I have read a few of Tank Girls comics as well and enjoyed them. I would like to read more so maybe one day I'll grab a collected edition.  So that is a wrap for BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2". Next up is a new Trick or Screamers Series just in time for Halloween. I should have one posted in the next couple of days. Check back for that. Also this is the 100th post. Woooo Doesn't really mean anything but thought it was neat. Shows that I need to post more though. Over twos of BIT+ and only now reaching the 100th ...

BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2" Bloodshot!!

ITP Studios is happy to release the seventh character from BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2", from Valiant Comics, BLOODSHOT! Originally I was not going to design Bloodshot. But I was having a hard time deciding between Conan or the Rocketeer when I realized that I hadn't designed any characters from Valiant Comics. Valiant Comic was big when I fully got into comics and they had much cool characters like Quantum & Woody, Ninjak, Shadowman, XO-Manowar, Rai just to name a few. I remember seeing the first Bloodshot comic when it came out (the same day as the Death of Superman comic. It was crazy that day at the comic shop) with its crazy cover. Typical 90's comics. So awesome. Anyways, once I realized there were no Valiant characters so far in the Indy Legends Series, I had to design Bloodshot. Probably the most popular of the Valiant characters. I was able to finish designing him in a day (which is fast for me). There are a...

BIT+ Series 12"Indy Legends 2" Red Sonja!!

Welcome everyone.   It is time to release the next character from BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2", the red haired warrior, RED SONJA!   This was a fun character to design. Really wanted to make her look intimidating even though she was in a metal bikini. Hopefully I managed to pull it off.   That is it for right now.   Thank you for all the support, and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy.   Trevor BIT+ Paper Toys Creating paper toy.....madness!!

BIT+ Series 12 "INDY LEGENDS 2" the Stalk

Releasing next from BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2", from the smash hit comic Saga, comes the Stalk! This comic is one of the best being published right now. I look forward to this book every month more than any other right now (Rat Queens is a very close second). The Stalk character is one of my favorite characters in the series. Hopefully they will find a way to include her in future stories. More characters from BIT+ Series 12 will be released really soon. Until then enjoy the BIT+ paper toy. Thank you far all the support. BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2" Hero Bear

Next up from BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2", from the mind of Mike Kunkel, Hero Bear. I love black and white comics, especially ones were the roughs are still visible. Adding is one simple color, in this case red, to just make certain things pop makes the book spectacular. That is what Mike Kunkel has done with his book, now published through kaboom! Studios, Hero Bear and the Kid. I enjoyed this comic when it first came out and am happy to see it return. Mike brings such life to his drawings and the characters are great. I look forward to seeing what adventures he takes them on. I will be releasing the third character from Series 12 "Indy Legends 2" in the next couple of days. Until then, Thank you for all the support and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy. Trevor  BIT+ Paper Toys Creating paper toy.....madness!!

BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2" Atomic Robo!!

Hello Everyone, As promised here is the first character from BIT+ Series 12"Indy Legends 2", from Red 5 Comics, Atomic Robo! I really enjoy this series and never thought a comic involving science would be for me. Boy, was I wrong. If you have never ready Atomic Robo you have to check it out. The artwork and storylines are fun, entertaining. The creators have made a great comic that you can put up and just enjoy with out needing to know any back story. It is just, like I said, a fun and entertaining story. So that is it for know. I will release another character from BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2" this Sunday (August 17th). Thank you for all the support and enjoy the BIT+ Paper Toy. Trevor BIT+ Paper Toys Creating paper toy.....madness!!

Hero Bear Sneak Peek

Hello Everyone. Here is a character from the upcoming BIT+ Series 12 "Indy Legends 2" line, Hero Bear. I have followed Mike Kunkel's Hero Bear and the Kid for a long time. I first meet him at the Calgary Expo several years ago and was just amazing at how nice of a guy he was. Fast forward to 2014, and I was lucky enough to see him again at the Calgary Expo and he is still just as nice. His book, now coming out through kaboom! studios is back and better then ever. Be sure to check it out if you haven't already. Thank you for the support. Trevor BIT+ Paper Toys Creating paper toy.....madness!!

Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo Recap and going forward

Hello everyone. Thank you everyone how stopped by the table to say hello this past weekend at the Edmonton Comic Expo . I had a great time at the show meeting all of you. I had several new BIT+ paper toys making their convention debut and I was very happy with the response that they got. This show was also this first time I used a new stand that I had built to display the BIT+ paper toys. While it took longer to put together than grid wall, I think that it looked a lot nicer with it clean and simple look. Putting the posters in we're a pain but I think I have thought of a better way to do it next time (taping them in place was annoying). I have a pic below of what the table looked like at the show. Next up is the Jet City Comic Show , on November 2nd, 2013, in Tacoma, WA. This show has be held previously in Seattle but this year they made the change to host it in Tacoma. Should be fun. I enjoy visiting the Seattle area. I have also decided that for the month of O...

BIT+ Paper Toys Year One

Can you believe that it has already been a year since the first BIT+ Paper Toys were released. I can't. The designs have come a long way since Series One "The Marvelous", but I think those characters still hold there ground against the newer series that I have done. With the release of Aku yesterday that makes 48 different BIT+ characters in the first year (I think). Almost one a week. Not bad. I hope to release even more in Year Two. I have a simple goal for year Two and that is 70 new characters by the end of it. Plus I plan to feature a lot more female characters plus have some scene setters for the characters as well (you will see what I mean when I finish the Trick or Treat Series is October). Well that is enough out of me. I have to get back to getting the Summer of BIT+ back on track (I had been really sick for the past two weeks. I lost 18 pounds in the first 4 days of being sick) but below I have adjusted the checklist drawing that I did to include all the ch...

BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends" Spawn

ITP Studios proudly presently the fifth character from BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends", a character that shattered sales records for an Independent Comic Book, Todd MacFarlanes, Spawn!!  I started collecting comics myself right when Todd MacFarlane starting his run of Spider-Man and was blown away. I had always read comics but they were my Dads. Spider-Man #1 was the first comic I bought my own money. I remember my Mom taking me to the local comic book shop and seeing all the different cover of that issue (I ended up getting the gold colored cover). Anyways, a couple years later I walked by a spinner in a Sears store (Yes they had comics at one point in Sears stores) and there was Spawn #1. It was unlike anything I had read before and looking back I probably was too young to read it as well. Regardless, I was hooked. After that I was an Image kid. I read every Image comic, the good with the bad, and back then there was a lot of bad but I ...

BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends" the TICK

Another update so soon. You Bet! Here comes the next character to be released from BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends", and this time it is BIG BLUE himself,   This character always made me laugh. Whether it was in his Comic Books, Animated Cartoon or the wickedly funny and unfortunately, short lived live action TV show, the Tick rocked. Whenever I see him in a Comic I have to pick it up.   Cutting it short today as I am working hard on getting more characters done over the Long Weekend. Should see another update tomorrow or on Monday.   Till then Enjoy and Happy Easter, t.

BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends" Vampirella

A bit late but, it is about time, here is the next character from BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends", The original "Bad Girl", I think, has always looked cool. Honestly I don't think I have every read one of her books that wasn't a crossover with some other character. I think she is from an alien planet were she was part of a race of vampires or something. I am sure wiki has all the info on her. This is the first female character that I did in the BIT+ Paper Toy. I redesigned the template to make it a bit more feminine friendly I guess (just skinnier really).   I had planned on doing a BIT+ Series with the Theme being "Bad Girls" but I really wanted to start adding in female characters sooner since creating each toy has been taking longer than the first Series (damn it for having to get a job). So here you go. Enjoy building another character. Only five more to go until this Series is wrapped up. Oh, I added a poll to the blog. I have decided t...

BIT+ Series 5 "Indy Legends" Usagi Yojimbo

Introducing the second character from BIT + Series 5, "Indy Legends", the lone rabbit...... USAGI YOJIMBO!!! Stan Sakai has created one to the greatest characters in comics and I  cannot wait for him to return to his book soon (Right now him is working on 47 Ronin from Dark Horse Comics ). This is by far my favorite book and character. I have every trade (several sign by the man himself) as well as some action figures and prints. The characters within Usagi Yojimbo all have their own voice and the storyline all flow in and out of one another, that it is truly a great work of art. Stan Sakai has created a masterpiece in my opinion. Plus I just found out that a new Usagi Yojimbo game, Usagi Yojimbo Way of the Ronin  has just been released. Have to check that out. Anyways, enough geeking out here. Enjoy the new BIT+ Paper Toy, and look for another update soon. (I have a couple side characters that I am working on right now which look awesome). Later, t...
